Transitions18 Melbourne program out now
The program for our Melbourne event on 1st June is now available.
This year we welcome Dr Julia Atkin, leading education and learning consultant, as keynote speaker. The program features 12 researchers from Australia and New Zealand presenting insights and evidence on teacher collaboration, leading change, spatial competencies and spaces for learning outside the classroom. Each session features active and rich discussion facilitated by experts in the field.
This event builds on the success of Transitions 17 and graduate symposia held by LEaRN over the last 6 years. The events have been instrumental in connecting researchers, educators and architects to further discussion, debate and understanding of the complex issues involved in design, development and inhabitation of learning environments in schools, museums, universities and health facilities. This is the first of 3 events in 2018 organised by the ILETC project with events in Phoenix, USA and Copenhagen, Denmark in October to feature unique regional programs and speakers.
Registration: $200 (Full price) & $100 (Phd/Masters students) Register now.
“quick rollouts of research in each panel session transformed into dialogue brilliantly facilitated by interlocutors, who connected participants and researchers in exploration of key questions essential to emerging voice, agency, and influence among progressives who represent diverse fields of educational study, cultures, and geographies of schooling. I found myself at the end of the day thinking that this is what a conference that builds and sustains efficacy runs like.”
